COVID Marshal Training for Victorian Construction Industry
The Victorian Government has developed this course to educate COVID Marshals and help keep the construction industry safe.
COVID Marshals are required on all construction sites, including small-scale construction sites. They are appointed by the site's employer and do not have to be a site manager. COVID Marshals are responsible for monitoring a worksite’s compliance with its COVIDSafe Plan and additional industry-specific obligations. They also support workers to follow COVIDSafe principles and look for ways to continually improve a business’s COVIDSafe Plan.
Who is this course for? This course has been developed for COVID Marshals to improve their knowledge of COVID-19, infection control and how to carry out their role on site.
Is the course compulsory? No, but it is encouraged to ensure COVIDSafe compliance across our construction sites and help keep Victorian workers safe.
How long does the course take? The course takes 45 minutes to complete and is available on your phone, tablet or computer.
What do I get when I complete the course? You will be issued with a certificate of completion that you can download from your course dashboard.
